Fairing Mounts
The OnePoint fairing mounting system hardware is light weight, very adjustable, and provides a place for installation of headlights and other accessories. This mount attachs to the boom behind the bottom bracket which means it can fit a wide variety today's new short wheelbase recumbents bikes and trikes with large diameter booms and pierced tube contstruction head tubes. Some models that it fits are Burley Hepcat and Django, 2001 RANS Rocket, RANS Screamer, the Trek R200, and Greenspeed GTO with Slumpf Drive. This mounting system is also helpful if your recumbent trike or SWB has a headlight tab or some other obstruction on the bottom bracket shell. Also check out our trike page.
The OnePoint system is made of 6061aluminum, TIG welded, and powder coated black. It is adjustable at the top and bottom for position and extension so that you can custom fit the fairing to your bike and riding position. Headlights can be installed to shine beside the fairing rather than through the fairing for better rider vision at night. You can do this with shortened bar extensions added to the mounting hardware and using handlebar mountable headlights. Shortened bar extensions can be purchased from MHP. Mount one headlight on each side to balance fairing and for good lighting.
